Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 9 November -

Course Proper:

Royal Success (McNab) and Our Abbadean (Bosson) worked very well over 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 39.2. At this stage, Royal Success is aiming towards racing in the Open 1600 metres at Awapuni on 16 November whereas Our Abbadean prepares for the Canterbury Breeders' Stakes during Cup Week in Christchurch.

Race rivals Chambord (McNab) and Heroic Valour (Bosson) looked outstanding galloping over 1000 metres in 1.09.4, home in 41. Both horses are due to race in the Listed Open sprint at Te Rapa this Saturday.

Devil May Care (McNab) and Nucleonic (Bosson) looked in good order when galloping over 1000 metres in 1.07.5, last 600 in 38.5. Both horses prepare to race at Te Aroha next Tuesday in their respective events.

Gris Dame (McNab) and Motivation (Bosson) worked nicely over 1000 metres in 1.08.2, last 600 in 39.2. Both horses are due to be nominated for the Maiden 3YO 1400 metres at Te Aroha next Tuesday.

No. 2 Sand

Princess Davone (Tan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 43.5. She was followed by Don'tblamethemusic (M Grylls) who worked similar times. Princess Davone is ready to run in the Rating 75 1400 metres at Te Rapa this Saturday, while Don'tblamethemusic will contest the Rating 75 1200 metres.

Lady Pinot (Pinn) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 46.

Melody Belle (Bosson) galloped solo over an easy 800 metres, working the last 600 in 40.5.

Coup Bradman (McNab) travelled at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 600 in 45.

Full Of Grace (Leveque) and Adventuress (Burdan) paired up to work at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.12, running the last 600 in 42. Full Of Grace prepares for the Maiden 3YO event after being scratched due to slow track conditions at Waipa on Wednesday.

Al Hasa (Bosson) and 3g Castledale - Emma's Choice (McNab) worked together at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 42.5. Al Hasa has improved from his last start and is due to line up in the 2YO 1000 metres in Te Rapa this Saturday.

Elegant D'Oro (McNab) travelled solo over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44. She builds toward the Maiden 1200 metres at Hastings this Sunday.

Unfazed (Pinn) and Gipsyrocker (Bosson) worked well over 1000 metres in 1.09.8, last 600 in 41.3. Unfazed was also scratched from Waipa due to track conditions and now heads to the Rating 65 1400 metres at Hastings this Sunday, Gipsyrocker prepares to make her debut in the Maiden 3YO event at Te Aroha next Tuesday.
