Te Akau track work highlights -  Thursday 14 December -

Plough:

Scarlet Princess (K Price) worked well on her own over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 40.3.

Dublin Rose (Pinn) and Aquilo (Newman) galloped nicely over an easy 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 41.1. Both horses are set to line up this weekend; Dublin Rose - 2YO 1200 metres at Te Rapa on Saturday and Aquilo - Rating 65 1200 metres at Ellerslie on Sunday.

Set to race this Saturday in the Group 3 J Swap contractors Sprint, Royal Success (McNab) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 43.5.

Jimmy Rea (K Jones) worked solo at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 46.

Embellish (McNab) and Age Of Fire (Bakar) paired up to gallop a nice 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 41.

Dazed And Confused (Pinn) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.11, home in 41.

Coup Bradman (Newman) and Bak Da Master (McNab) galloped 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 37.5. Both horses are set to resume at Matamata next Wednesday; Coup Bradman builds toward the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres while Bak Da Master prepares for the Maiden 1400 metres.

Hushed (Newman) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres, running the last 1000 in 1.11, home in 39. Hushed is due to race at Awapuni this Saturday in the Open 2000 metre event.

Nucleonic (Newman) worked very well over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 45. She also heads to Awapuni to contest the Rating 65 1200 metres.

Remington (Bakar) and Al Hasa (McNab) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 44. The Real Beel (K Price) also worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres, running similar times.
