Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 28 December -

Course Proper:

Set to run in the Group 1 Sistema Railway on New Year's Day, Heroic Valour (Bosson) and Melody Belle (McNab) galloped well over 1000 metres in 1.03.4, last 600 in 35.3.

Plough:

Racing at Stratford this Sunday, Coup Bradman (Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 41. He was followed by Don'tblamethemusic (Newman) who also worked over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 45.

Also preparing for Stratford this Sunday, Beau Geste (McNab) galloped an easy 1200 metres, running 1000 metres in 1.08, home in 38.5.

Jet Set (Tan) worked solo over 800 metres, running the last 600 in 42.3.

Motivation (Bosson) and Scrutinize (McNab) worked well over 1000 metres in 1.07, last 600 in 36. Both horses prepare to race in their respective events over 1300 metres at Tauranga on 2 January.

Nucleonic (Lammas) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 44.8.

Royal Success (McNab) and Master Painton (Bosson) galloped nicely over 1200 metres in 1.22, home in 37.

Tavis Star (Newman) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13.7, last 600 in 44.1.

Avantage (Bosson) and Pinot Grey (Lammas) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres in 1.08, home in 38.

English Rose (Tan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15.

Lady Painton (Burdan) worked over 1000 metres in 1.13, home in 42.

Racing early in the New Year, Te Akau Shark (Bosson) and Wandering Eye (Lammas) galloped well together over 1000 metres in 1.08.5, last 600 in 37.5.

Poppin' Bubbles (Bosson) and Trendsetting (McNab) galloped 1000 metres in 1.03.9, home in 36.6.

Griffin (Lammas) and Al Hasa (Bosson) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.08, last 600 in 38.  Al Hasa worked well and prepares for the Group 3 Eclipse Stakes (2YO, 1200m) at Ellerslie on New Year's Day.

Nominated for Hastings on New Year's Day, Fashionably (Newman) and Wide Awake (Lammas) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.22, last 600 in 36.8.

2f Darci Brahma - Peta's Girl (Miller) and 2f Burgundy - Eclectic Heights (K Price), Faltonius (Alam) and 2g Jakkalberry - Red Alert (Bakar) worked in pairs at three quarter pace over 600 metres, running similar times of 45.5.

Preparing for the Rating 85 1480 metres at Stratford this Sunday, Beaumarchais (McNab) galloped over an easy 1000 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 41.
