Preparing to debut at Hastings on Saturday, Total Excess (N Bakar) worked along nicely over 1000 metres in 1.12.4, last 600 in 42.3.

Master Painton (C Burdan) looked good galloping 1000 metres in 1.06.8.

Set to race in the Group 2 Travis Stakes at Te Rapa on Saturday, Our Abbadean (T Newman) looked in good order working over 1000 metres in 1.13.

Fine Bouquet (C Lammas) galloped nicely over an easy 1000 metres in 1.07, home in 40.

Byzantine (N Bakar) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 44. He was followed by Aquilo (J Stan) who ran similar times. Byzantine builds toward the Listed Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre 2YO Stakes at Te Rapa Saturday week, while Aquilo prepares to resume in the Rating 65 1200 metres at Wanganui next Sunday.

3g Reliable Man - Colheita (C Burdan) galloped an easy 800 metres, running the last 600 in 41.

Resuming in the Rating 75 1400 metres at Hastings on Saturday, Vinevale (S Rusof) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.17.
