Course Proper:

Byzantine (C Lammas) lead Aquilo (N Bakar) and Albatross Point (C Burdan) at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 40. Byzantine builds toward the Listed Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre 2YO Stakes at Te Rapa on Saturday, while Aquilo and Albatross Point prepare to race at Wanganui on Sunday.

The Chaser (C Lammas) looked good galloping on his own over 1000 metres in 1.06, last 600 in 37.8.

No. 2 Sand:

Chadsdale (C Burdan) worked along nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 43.

Readying to race next week, Tiffany's Time (T Newman) galloped an easy 1000 metres in 1.06, home in 39.5. Seirios (N Bakar) also galloped an easy 1000 metres, running similar times.
