Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 2 August -
Unfortunately very thick fog prevented times being taken - all horses looked to be working well when coming out of the fog.
No. 2 Sand:
Beau Geste (T Newman) solo over an easy 1000 metres.
Avantage (N Bakar) lead Cicciolina (L Miller) at three quarter pace over 800 metres.
Te Akau Shark (O Bosson), Ocean Star (D Miller), Remington (C Burdan), Icebomb (N Bakar), King Kane (D Miller), Publicist (D Miller) and Te Akau Dragon (J Stan) all galloped an easy 800 metres.
Working yesterday morning in the reverse direction:
No.2 Sand:
Luminous (S Rusof) and English Rose (N Bakar) galloped an easy 800 metres; running the last 400 in 28.5, final 200 in 13.8.
Byzantine (D Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres, running the last 400 in 30. Total Excess (S Rusof) also worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres, running the last 600 in 29.9.
3f Pentire - Platinum Blond (S Rusof) and 3f Per Incanto - Moss Lady (T Newman) worked side by side over an easy 800 metres; running the last 400 in 27.5, last 200 in 13.6. Firebrand (D Miller) and Willpower (C Burdan) also worked over 800 metres, running similar times.
Wide Awake (T Newman) and Ritzy Sparkle (S Rusof) worked on their own, galloping over an easy 800 metres; running the last 400 in 28, finishing off in 14.
All Weather:
You're Welcome (D Miller) and Our Flying Ace (C Burdan) worked over an easy 800 metres; running the last 400 in 27.4, last 200 in 13.2. The pair were followed by Weaponry (J Stan) who ran similar times.
Training on her own; Gris Dame (T Newman) galloped an easy 800 metres; running the last 400 in 27.9, finishing off in 13.5. Live Wire (S Rusof) and Melody Belle (S Rusof) also worked over 800 metres (separately), running similar times.
Quattro Katie (S Rusof) and Remember O'Reilly (T Newman) paired up to galloped an easy 800 metres; running the last 400 in 29.1, home in 14.4
Trendsetting (N Bakar) worked on her own at three quarter pace over 600 metres; running the last 400 in 31, 200 in 15.5. 3g Rock 'n' Pop - Pokuru Boxer (C Leveque) ran similar times when he too worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres.
