Te Akau track work highlights -Thursday July 24 -

Course proper (Slow):

Two groups of three yearlings had an educational jump out from the race day gates, with the purpose being to load and stand correctly before jumping out and tapering off after 200 metres: 1 c Fastnet Rock - Festival Princess (Hazlett), 1 c Fastnet Rock - Morgalicious (Allen) and 1 c Pins - Laurinel Princess (Richards).

Also Affinee (1 f Exceed and Excel - Household) (Samuelsson), 2 f Mastercraftsman - Due Diligence (Allen) and 1 f Minstrel Court - Paixanito (Richards).

Two-year-old Grass Track:

Sonsy (Allen) and 2 f Savabeel - Mezaire (Hercock) worked over 600 metres at three-quarter pace.

Atua worked over one round in pace work with Davey Ellis aboard.
