Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 4 April -

Plough:

Wide Awake (C Leveque) looked good working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 44.5.

Resuming at Te Aroha on Saturday, Mongolianconqueror (M McNab) was followed by Remington (D Miller) when galloping over an easy 1000 metres in 1.11, final 600 in 42. 

Fabulous Flight (M McNab) looked good working over an easy 1200 metres in 1.28.8, last 600 in 41.8. He was followed by Golden Age (D Miller) who also looked good working over 1200 metres. Fabulous Flight is set to race at Te Aroha on Saturday and Golden Age will race at Pukekohe on Sunday. 

Red Jakkal (M McNab) and Man Oh Man (D Miller) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.07.6, last 600 in 38.8.

Witchery (J Bragg) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, last 600 in 45. She was followed by Puysegur (J Kamaruddin), who ran home in similar time.

On track to race in the Group 1 Breeders Stakes at Te Aroha on Saturday, Our Abbadean (J Kamaruddin) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.30, last 600 in 45.

Confectionery (C Cole) looked good working on her own at three quarter pace over 600 metres.

Beau Geste (D Miller) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1200 metres, last 600 in 44. Icebomb (J Kamaruddin) also worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres and ran home in similar time. 

Boutonniere (M McNab) and Star Of Bombay (R Hutchings) paired up to gallop over 800 metres in 52.5, last 600 on 37.6. 

Blitzabeel (J Kamaruddin) and Greedy (R Hutchings) worked at three quarter pace over 600 metres, quickening in the straight to finish in 41. Blitzabeel prepares to make her race day debut in the 2YO event at Pukekohe on Sunday.

Enrichment (D Miller) and Rakuten (M McNab) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, last 600 in 45.
