Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 11 April -

Very thick fog prevented many times being taken.

Course Proper:

English Rose (R Hutchings) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.24.7, last 600 in 41.

Plough:

Racing at Hastings on Saturday, Griffin (C Burdan) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres.

Qiji Crystal (R Hutchings) and Scottish Star (A Jones) paired up to gallop over an easy 1000 metres. 

Racing at Hastings on Saturday, Icebomb (J Kamaruddin) and Puysegur (D Miller) worked nicely at three quarter pace over 1000 metres. 

Preparing to race at Te Rapa on Sunday, Beau Geste (D Miller), Wide Awake (M Grylls) and Fabulous Flight (O Bosson) worked separately at three quarter pace over 1200 metres. 

Also on track to race at Te Rapa on Sunday, Duck Road (O Bosson) was followed by Kingsguard (C Burdan) when working at three quarter pace over 1000 metres, last 600 in 43.

Spirit Of Galway (A Jones) and Awareness (R Hutchings) galloped over 800 metres in 51, last 600 in 36.5. They were followed by Irish Heart (M Grylls) who ran similar times. 

Qian Gua (O Bosson) and Willpower (C Burdan) galloped over 1000 metres, running the last 600 in 39.1.

Top Brass (R Hutchings) and Dolce Amore (G Grylls) looked good galloping over 1000 metres in 1.10.7, last 600 in 41.

Conclusion (D Miller) and Louis Luck (O Bosson) galloped over 800 metres in 52.9, final 600 in 38.5.
