King's Rock (Miller) and Longbeach (Richards) went over 800 metres, working up to three-quarter pace. Bronte Lass (McKay) and La Adelita (Miller) 800m, Flirty Gertey (Hazlett) and Virtuous (McKay) 800m, Sonsy (Samuelsson) and 3 f Savabeel - Mezaire (Miller) 600m, Latin Rose (Roff) and 3 f Mastercraftsman - Due Diligence (Richards) 600m, Equanimity (Samuelsson) and Merrily (Gomas) 600m, Beacon of Hope (Richards) and 2 c Fastnet Rock - Morgalicious (Miller) 400m, Court Case (Stacey), Vintage Verdot (Autridge) and 2 g Captain Rio - Lady Classique (Todd).

Rocksun (Miller) and Splurge (Richards) worked at three-quarter over 400 metres, as did Esprit De Corps (Gomas) and Unsurpassed (Hazlett), Windborne (Samuelsson) and 2 f Encosta De Lago - Love Diamonds (Hazlett), Enshrine (Richards) and Special Memories (Samuelsson).
