Te Akau track work highlights Thursday 4 June -

Course proper (Heavy):

King's Rock (Lammas) worked nicely over 1000m in 1:11.3, last 600m in 41, in preparation to resume over a mile next Wednesday at Avondale.

All-weather track:

Christine Louise (Price), Coincidence (Lammas) and Niamh Elizabeth (Hanafi) worked well together over 600m at three-quarter pace.

1 g Alamosa - Paint Me a Dream (Price), 1 g Darci Brahma - Distinctive Lass (Hanafi), 1 g Darci Brahma - Molly Coco (Fawcett) all pleased in their work as a trio at half-pace over 600m and then three-quarter pace over 400m against the rail.

Sand track, three-quarter pace:

Star of Greenbeel (Miller) worked over 800m at three-quarter pace in 56.6.

Bettorock (Lammas) and Grandeur (Hanafi) both worked well in an easy 800m.

Bon Marche (Miller) showed to be improving in solo work over 800m. 2 f Choisir - Shopping Spree (Roff) did similar work.

Barriers:

1 f Fastnet Rock - Il Quello Veloce (Hercock) and 2 f Swiss Ace - Black Cat (Roff) cantered out very nicely from the wooden practice gates.
