Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 27 August - 

Course proper (Heavy):

Astrid (Lammas) and Primrose (Coleman) pleased their riders when working together over 800m. They ran the final 600m in 39.

Sand track:

Preparing to make her debut on Saturday at Ruakaka, Interstellar (Cameron) worked solo over 1000m at three-quarter pace.

Heading south next week to Riccarton, Windborne (Lammas) worked to the clock over 800m at three-quarter pace.

Also heading south, Vive La Difference (Lammas) looked good during an easy 1000m in 1.07. Flaming (Hercock) went 800m in 54, last 600m in 39.5. Princess Davone (Cameron) worked with Tatters (Lammas) over 1000m in 1:11, last 600m in 41.

Hysteria Lane (K. Price) went an easy 800m in 54. Fas (Zac-Syed) covered 800m in 55.5, last 600m in 40.4.

Sir Darci (Hercock) worked keenly over 800m at three-quarter pace.

All-weather track:

Echezeaux (Hercock) looked strong and pleased in her three-quarter pace work over 800m in 57. Silverdale (Cameron) went an easy 800m in 55, showing to be near racing trim.

Highly Likely (Hanafi) worked keenly over a mile at three-quarter pace. He clocked the 1000m in 1:11, last 600m in 40. Lady Painton (Lammas) did similar work.

Niahm Elizabeth (Zac-Syed) went an easy 1000m in 1:05.6, last 600m in 38.5, looking good.

Sunset Pass (Hercock) worked over ground at jumper's pace in preparation for a steeplechase on Sunday at Te Aroha.
