Te Akau track work highlights Thursday 1 October -

Sand track:

Ahead of their respective assignments over 1150 metres on Sunday at Waipa, Carmenize (Fawcett) and Our Drahma Queen (Zac-Syed) worked together over 1000m in 1:06, last 600m in 36.4.

Love Triangle (Miller) looked good when working to the clock over 1000m at three-quarter pace. Love Triangle (Encosta De Lago) has drawn barrier seven in the Gold Trail Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m) on Saturday at Hastings.

Scrutinize (K. Jones) was very relaxed in his work over 1200m at three-quarter pace, ahead of the Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr. 2, 1400m) at Hastings.

Imperium (Price) worked over a mile at three-quarter pace in preparation for the Rating 75 2000 metres at Hastings.

Esprit De Corps (Hercock) and Rocksun (K. Jones) went 1000m in 1:07, last 600m in 38.2.

Cathedral Cove (Shailer) went an easy 800m and pleased the rider.

Echezeaux (Hercock) worked over 800m, running the 600m in 40, and looked very good. She was followed in her work by Promosso (Zac-Syed).

Lady Pinot (Lammas) went an easy 800m in 53.5, last 600m in 39. Forty Winks (Gomas) did similar work in 53, last 600m in 37, looking good.

Our Abbadean (Coleman) went an easy 1000m in 1:10.4, last 600m in 40.

Duchess Kate (Hercock) went an easy 1000m, as did Star of Greenbeel (Miller). Opulent (Lammas) went 1000m at three-quarter pace.

Grazia (Lammas) and Spritz (K. Jones) went an easy 800m, and Its Our Showtime (Miller) went solo over the same trip.

3 f Saperavi - Doyenne (Zac-Syed) and 3 f Showcasing - Louders (Miller) went an easy 800m together.

All-weather track:

Bon Marche (Hanafi) looked good working over 1200m. He clocked 1:04 for the 1000m, last 600m in 43, in readiness for the Maiden 1580 metres at Waipa.

Skyscraper (Lammas) pleased the rider when working solo over 1200m. He ran the 1000m in 1:06.5, last 600m in 38.

Corporate Missile (Zac-Syed) worked solo against the rail over 600m at three-quarter pace.

Jump outs, trial grass:

Hysteria Lane (Lammas), Osmunda (Hanafi) and Show No Emotion (Hercock) jumped out over 800 metres.

Astrid (Zac-Syed), Sequitur (Lammas), Sir Darci (Fawcett) and Vinevale (Hutton) jumped out over 800 metres.

Abloom (Gomas), Bounteous (Lammas), 2 f Minstrel Court - Paixanito (Fawcett), and Zavistic (Miller) jumped out over 600 metres.

3 f High Chaparral - Star Affair (Miller), 2 f Mastercraftsman - Lynisky (Fawcett) and 2 f Savabeel - Modern Lady (Lammas) jumped out over 600 metres.

Sassy'n'smart (Hercock), Tiffany's Time (Zac-Syed), 2 f Alamosa - Ensorcelez (Hanafi) and 2 f Iffraaj - Lady Sakura (Price) jumped out over 600 metres.

Riccarton:

Trial grass (Dead):

Preparing to race in the 3YO 1400 metres on Saturday at Riccarton, Risque (Walsh) worked over 1200m at three-quarter pace. She covered the 1000m in 1:14.4, last 600m in 44. In the Rating 75 1600m, Vive La Difference (Walsh) did similar work in running 1:14.1 and 44.9.

Flaming (Walsh) went 1000m three-quarter pace, last 600m in 43, preparing for the Rating 75 1200 metres on Saturday.

Also in the 3YO 1400 metres, Special Memories (Walsh) went 1200m at three-quarter pace.

Madame Jamai (Ritchie) went 1000m three-quarter pace. Bishop Rock (Ritchie) went 1200m at three-quarter pace, last 1000m in 1:15.9 and the 600m in 43.9.

Princess Davone (Ritchie) and Windborne (Gerard) pace worked on the sand.
