O'Darci (Cameron) and Sovereign Rose (Dee), recently trialled at Cambridge, came from the 1200 metres in 1:19, last 600m in 38.9.

800 metres three-quarter pace on the sand track:

Gold Trail Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m) entrant Costa Viva (Cameron) pleased the rider in her final piece of work before racing on Saturday at Hastings.

Debut winner King's Rock (Miller), scheduled for the Bonecrusher Stakes (Gr. 3, 1400m) on Sept. 28 at Ellerslie, and Wolfwhistle (Dee), eyeing the Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr. 2, 1400m) on Oct. 5 at Hastings, worked nicely together.

At three-quarter pace over 1200 metres, Secret Whisper (Myers) remained on target to contest either the Benchmark 75 1600m, or 2000m, on Sept. 25 at Matamata. Track conditions will determine which race.
