Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 29 October -

Plough:

Ekraarstatic (Lammas) worked over a mile. She ran the 1200m in 1:23, last 600m in 40, and looked comfortable.  Osmunda (Price) and Sir Darci (Hercock) both worked nicely over 1000m in 1:08.

Lady Painton (K. Jones) produced good work over 1200m in 1:20, last 600m in 36.

Just Call Me Riley (Hercock) and Red Poppy (Fawcett) ran 800m, coming home in 36 for the 600m.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Our Abbadean (K. Jones) went 1000m. Shillelagh (Price) went 800m, as did Arpeggio (Zac-Syed).

All-weather, three-quarter pace:

Highly Likely (Hercock) pleased the rider when working over 2000m, last 600m in 40.

Riccarton:

Trial grass (Dead), three-quarter pace:

Bishop Rock (Ritchie) and Xtravagant (Miller) went 1200m in 1:26.4, last 600m in 40.4.  Madame Jamai (Miller) followed Windborne (Walsh) over 800m in 56.1, last 600m in 43.

Flaming (Walsh) went 1000m in 1:09.5, last 600m in 42.5.

Pace work, sand track:

Special Memories (Miller) worked with Vive La Difference (Gerard). Princess Davone (Ritchie) and Risque (Miller), Opulent (Gerard) and Sassy ‘N' Smart (Miller).
