Sand:

Sequitur (Lammas) went 1000m in 1:08.7, last 600m in 39.

Bounteous (Hercock) and Red Poppy (Hanafi) ran 800m in 52, last 600m in 37.5. Shillelagh (Price) and Fas (Zac-Syed) did similar work over 800m.

Latin Rose (Hercock) and O'Know (K. Jones) ran 800m in 58.4, last 600m in 42.4.

Sand, three-quarter pace:

Silverdale (Shailer) 1000m, Point Percy (Shailer)1000m, Tavis Star (Myers) 1000m, Sir Darci (Hercock) 1000m, Star of Greenbeel (Lammas) 1000m and Affinee (Fawcett) 800m.

All-weather:

Thetruthisoutthere (Hercock) went 1000m at three-quarter pace in 1:14, looking very good.

Abloom (Zac-Syed) and 2 f Savabeel - Modern Lady (Hercock) worked together over 800 in 53, last 600m in 39. Corporate Missile (Lammas) ran 800m in 1:00, last 600m in 43.

Riccarton:

Preparing for the $400,000 2000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m) on Saturday at Riccarton, race favourite Xtravagant (Miller) worked to time over 1200m at three-quarter pace on the trial grass.

Plough:

Opulent (Miller) went an easy 1000m in 1:10, last 600m in 40.1, which was good work.

Windborne (Wynne) was followed by Sassy ‘N' Smart (Miller) over 800m at three-quarter pace in 58, last 600m in 42.1.

Risque (Miller) went three-quarter pace solo over 1200m, as did Special Memories (Miller).

Sand:

Bishop Rock (Ritchie) pace worked solo in preparation for the 2000 Guineas. Princess Davone (Ritchie) pace worked solo.

After racing on Tuesday at Wingatui, Flaming swam in the equine pool.
