Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 19 November -

Course proper (Dead):

Imperium (Hercock) and Sequitur (K. Jones) worked over a mile. They ran the 1200m in 1:22, last 600m in 41, and both enjoyed the gallop.

Wolfwhistle (Miller) worked solo over 1200m in 1:23, last 600m in 41.3, and pleased the rider.

Chambord (Hercock) and Love Triangle (K. Jones) were followed by Beacon of Hope (Miller) over 800m in 51.6, last 600m in 37.6, in a good workout by all three.

Sand track:

Latin Rose (Hercock) and O'Know (Vaneckova) ran 800m, last 600m in 39. 3 f High Chaparral - Star Affair (K. Jones) worked an easy 800m, last 600m in 42.

Arpeggio (Miller) and Red Poppy (Fawcett) covered 1000m in 1:05.7, last 600m in 36.7.  Red Poppy is down to debut at Te Rapa on Sunday.

Chadsdale (Zac-Syed) and Herschal (Hanafi) ran 800m in 54, last 600m in 38.

Smashing (K. Jones) and 3 g El Hermano - Santiga Lass (Vaneckova) ran an easy 800, last 600m in 41.

Sand track, three-quarter pace:

Star of Greenbeel (K. Jones) worked over 1000m at three-quarter pace in 1:14, running home the last 600m in 42.  He is another nominated for the Cambridge meeting on Sunday.

Hysteria Lane (Fawcett) went a 1000m in 1:12. Tavis Star (K. Jones) strode out well in similar work over 1200m.

All-weather track:

Abloom (Vaneckova), Lucy Wyldstyle (Miller) and 2 f Minstrel Court - Paixanito (Fawcett) worked as a trio over 600m in 39.5.

Jump outs:

2 f Alamosa - Falaniella (Zac-Syed), 2 f Mastercraftsman - Lynisky (Fawcett) and 2 f Redwood - Volks Princess (Hanafi) ran 600m together in 38.

Hyacinth (Zac-Syed), Jimana (Hercock) and 2 f Showcasing - Something Majic (Vaneckova) ran 600m together in 41.5.

Affinee (Zac-Syed) and Corporate Missile (Miller) went together in 40.5.

Epic Tale (Hanafi), 3 g Castledale - Elianto (Zac-Syed), 2 g Charge Forward - Imposed (Fawcett) and 2 g Darci Brahma - Obsession (Ritchie) went together in 40.
