Te Akau track work highlights Thursday 17 December -

Plough:

Bounteous (Lammas - main picture) and Red Poppy (Coleman - main picture) went an easy 1000m together in 1:04, last 600m in 37, both travelling strongly through the line.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Scrutinize (Miller) looked tremendous in preparation for the 3YO 1400 metres on Saturday at Awapuni. Scrutinize (Savabeel) worked over 1000m in 1:14.4.

Opulent (Lammas) went 1000m in 1:14, when followed in her work by Flaming (Hercock). Both horses looked terrific.

Vive La Difference (Miller) looked good when going 1000m in 1:14. She was tracked along by Smashing (K. Jones), who contests the Rating 75 1200 metres on Saturday at Awapuni.

Vinevale (Hercock - below) looked good going 1000m in 1:14.5.

Our Drahma Queen (Zac-Syed) worked to time over 1200m. Maestro (Richards) looked good in similar work.

Cathedral Cove (Ritchie) went nicely over 800m.

All-weather track, three-quarter pace:

Skyscraper (Lammas) ran 1000m in 1:15.
