Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 18 February -

Course proper (Dead):

Alrina (Leveque) and Lady Jasmine (Fawcett) ran 800m in 57.7, last 600m in 42.3, enjoying the sting out of the ground.

Sand (wet):

I See Fire (Coleman) went an easy gallop over 1200m, running the 1000m in 1:13 and last 600m in 42.2.

Grazia (Lammas) and Tiffany's Time (Miller) ran 800m in 53, last 600m in 39.

Sand (wet), three-quarter pace:

Silverdale (Shailer) who is bound for the Taranaki Cup was tracked in work over 1200m by Zambezi Warrior (Ritchie).

Special Memories (Miller) was relaxed in her work over 1400m before her Taranaki assignment in the Oaks'Prelude.

Heroic Valour (Lammas) and Sassy 'N' Smart (Miller) went a 1000m, going easily.

Cathedral Cove (Ritchie) and Latin Rose (Lammas) worked over 1200m, running the 1000m in 1:20 and last 600m in 45.

Jump outs (Dead):

Splurge (Richards) and 2 g Pour Moi - Madam Stravinsky (Lammas) both began well and ran solidly over 600m in 37.

2 c Savabeel - Pin on Ice (Ritchie) and 2 c Shocking - Breaker Dawn (Hanafi) looked good together over 600m in 40.
