Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 25 February -

Fog prevented some timing.

Plough:

Duchess Kate (Lammas) and Xtravagant (Miller) ran over ground in easy work. They went 1200m in 1:26 and last 600m in 40.
Corporate Missile (Coleman) ran 1000m in 1:05.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Bordeaux (Richards) worked over ground, running the 1200m in 1:32 and last 600m in 45.4.

Arpeggio (K. Jones) went a quiet 1200m.  Alert (Shailer) worked 1000m in 1:16, home in 45.6.  Sassy ‘N' Smart (Miller) looked very good in a quiet 800m.

Heroic Valour (Miller) ran over 800m, pleasing the rider.

Forty Winks (Hanafi) worked over 800m in 1:01, last 600m in 41.5.

All-weather, three-quarter pace:

Skyscraper (Lammas) worked over ground, running the 1000m in 1:14 and 600m in 43.

Jump outs:

1 f Burgundy - Tad Infinitum (Fawcett) and 1 g Darci Brahma - Peta's Girl (Miller) jumped away and worked up half pace.
1 f Burgundy - Breezed (Miller), 1 f Burgundy - Paraiba (Hanafi) and 1 f Burgundy - Trove (Fawcett) did the same.
