Zambezi Warrior (Ritchie) went 1200 in 1.30, his last 600 in 42.5. Debut winner at Wairoa, Cathedral Cove (Richards) worked over ground, running his last 1200 in 1.23, and 600 in 39.2. Chambord (Leveque) worked over 1200 in 1.30, final 600 in 45.  Coincidence (Miller) covered 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40.

Spritz (Fawcett) and I See Fire (M. Grylls) went 800 in 55, last 600 in 40, both doing lovely work at the line. Flying Spur filly Vinevale (Miller) did similar work. Its Our Showtime (M. Grylls) in the company of Our Drahma Queen (Leveque) ran 800 in 53.4.

Prince Darci (Ritchie) and 2g Darci Brahma - Molly Coco (Richards) galloped over 800 in 53, last 600 in 38. 2g Charge Forward - Imposed (Richards) went 800 in 57, coming home in 42. Affinee (M. Grylls) worked on terms with Christine Louise (Hanafi) over 800 in 54, running their final 600 in 39.
