I See Fire (Coleman) worked over a mile, running the 1200m in 1:22 and final 600m in 39.

Grazia (Leveque) and Linchpin (Miller) worked an easy 1200m in 1:24, last 600m in 40. Royal Success (Ritchie) and Splurge (Miller) did similar work over 1200m in 1:23, last 600m in 41.

Herschal (K. Jones) went an easy 1000m in 1:08, last 600m in 39.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Xtravagant (Miller) went 1000m in 1:14, last 600m in 43.8, followed by Hall of Fame (Ritchie).
