Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 16 June -

Course proper (Slow) - fog prevented times

Grandeur (Ritchie) followed Windborne (K. Jones) over an easy 1000m and Shillelagh (K. Jones) worked on her own over 1000m ahead of their weekend assignments.

No.2 Sand, three quarter pace:

Gardenier (Miller) and Spritz (K. Jones) ran 1200m in 1.26.5. Lady Pinot (Leveque) galloped 1000m solo, all three are heading to Avondale on Wednesday. Astrid (Leveque) worked 1000m at three quarter pace in 1.16, she will be ridden by stable apprentice Jasmine Fawcett on Saturday.

Fog prevented the remaining gallops from being timed:

Recently gelded Splurge (Shailer) worked with Cabaret (Miller) over 1000m. Grazia (Miller) looked in good order working 1200m.

Preparing for Ruakaka, It's Our Showtime (K. Jones) produced lovely work over 1000m on her own. Last start Ruakaka winner Beacon Of Hope (Miller) also went 1000m. Latin Rose (Fawcett) looked good covering 1200m.
