No. 2 Sand:


Two year old Hall Of Fame (McNab) paired with the unraced King Kane (Noorman) over 800 metres in 55.2, last 600 in 39.7.


Imperium (Lammas) worked on his own over 800 metres, enjoying his work. Bishop Rock (McNab) worked keenly over 800 metres in 50.8, last 600 in 37.4. Both geldings head to the trials next Tuesday at Te Teko.


Opulent (Leveque) worked 1000 metres 1.13.5, running her last 600 in 44. She will head to Ruakaka next Saturday 6 August where she has won two races previously.


Group One winning colts Xtravagant (McNab) and Heroic Valour (Lammas) covered 800 metres in 52.8, last 600 in 37.5. Heroic Valour will make his first public appearance this preparation at Te Teko trials on Tuesday.


Christopher and Susanna Grace owned Shillelagh (K. Jones) and Lucy Wyldstyle (C Grylls) worked over 800 metres in 55.4, 600 in 39.4. Shillelagh impressed co-trainer Stephen Autridge with her work as she prepares to head to Melbourne for fillies' and mares' races over the spring carnival.


Savabeel gelding Wide Awake (McNab) worked in company with Ocean Rock (Lammas) over 800 metres in 56.5, last 600 in 40.8. Both horses head to the Te Teko trials on Tuesday.


Foxwedge filly Play For Time (R. Jones) paired with 2g Shocking - Breaker Dawn (M. Grylls) over 800 metres, they covered the ground in 57.8, last 600 in 40.7.


Michael Coleman rode the Encosta De Lago filly Love Triangle over 800 metres, running it in 52.8, last 600 in 38.6.
