No. 2 Sand - fog prevented timing

Opulent (Leveque) prepared for the Rating 1600 metre race at Ruakaka on Saturday by working over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace. She pleased her rider with her work and stable apprentice Jasmine Fawcett takes the ride on Saturday.

Melbourne-bound Shillelagh (Lammas) looked good to the eye galloping 800 metres. She joins stablemate Xtravagant (Pentire) in Melbourne next Wednesday.

3g Pins - Santangelo (M. Grylls) and Amperage (Lammas) covered 1000 metres in their work. Amperage (Zabeel) is on target to trial at Te Teko on August 25, while the Pins gelding is being prepared for Singapore.

Stolen Love (K. Price) and Primrose (C. Grylls) both worked on their own over 800 metres. They are both members of the stable being prepared for the Te Teko trials on August 25.

Pencarrow Stud owned Echezeaux (Leveque) lengthened out over 800 metres and pleased her rider.

Encosta De Lago filly Swing Note (Leveque) and Savabeel filly Gold Fever (M. Grylls) worked in company over 600 metres. They have begun fast work in preparation for the Te Teko trials on August 25.

Later in the morning, Epic Tale (Lammas) and 2g Darci Brahma - Rihanna (Leveque) worked over 600 metres in 44.5. Both looking good to the eye of co-trainer Stephen Autridge.
