Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine race programme on Friday 17 June at Timaru.
As on Wednesday 15 June the conditions were: overcast and Slow7, rail true. No rain forecast.
3.55 p.m. R9 5 Highly Likely (5 g High Chaparral - Starrinka) - Matt Cameron; continued good form with a brave run for third in the Rating 75 2050 metres at Tauherenikau, having been resilient prior when third off a tough trip in the $20,000 Rating 65 High-Weight 2200 metres at Rotorua. He looks a top chance from barrier two in the Rating 75 2100 metres, given his northern form.
