Te Akau track work Friday April 11
Course proper (Dead):
Flying Therese (Misbah) and Seline (Miller) galloped over 1000 metres in 1:06.6 and the last 600m in 37.3. By Flying Spur (Danehill) out the multiple stakes credentialed five time winner St. Therese (Dehere), Flying Therese is warming to her task at the trials, while Seline (Pentire) has bagged a third and two fourths from her three starts and may resume on April 25 in the Maiden 1400 metres at Awapuni.

Course proper (Slow):
New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year Costa Viva (Hercock) galloped over 800 metres in 53.3 and the last 600m in 38.2. Winner of the 1000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m), Costa Viva (Encosta De Lago) is likely to trial on April 22 at Te Awamutu.
Appellation (Miller - below right) and Wolfwhistle (Misbah - below left) covered 1200 metres in 1:20.4, last 600m in 37.3. Appellation (Pentire) is scheduled to resume in the Maiden 2YO 1400 metres on April 19 at Hastings, and Wolfwhistle (O'Reilly) is third up into the Benchmark 65 1600 metres at the same meeting.
A last start winner resuming at Hastings, Sovereign Rose (Miller - picutred below) worked over 1200 metres in 1:22.1, last 600m in 37.3. Depending on numbers, Sovereign Rose (Pins) may sneak her way into the Hawkes Bay Cup (Gr. 3, 2200m) next Saturday.
