Kiusan (Fawcett), Madame Monica (McNab), The Chaser (Lammas) & Maleficent (Cameron) head to gates
Course Proper;
Corporate Missile (Cameron) worked with Cabaret (Lammas) worked over 1000 metres, they covered the last 800 in 54, 600 in 40.2. Both horses head to the Matamata meeting on Wednesday, Corporate Missile (Smart Missile) for the Maiden 3YO 1200 and Cabaret (Showcasing) the Rating 65 1200.
There were two jump out heats from the race day barriers this morning, the first heat was The Chaser (Lammas), Kuisan (Fawcett), Madam Monica (McNab) & Maleficent (Cameron). The second heat included: Splurge (McNab), Rocksun (Pinn) & Vive La Difference (Cameron). All seven of these horses head to Cambridge trials next Thursday 8 September.
No. 2 Sand:
Heroic Valour (McNab) worked over 1000 metres, he ran 800 in 57.4, last 600 in 42.2. Michael McNab was really happy with how the Fastnet Rock colt felt.
Kuia (Leveque) worked with a partner over 800 metres and she sprinted their last 600 in 46.1.
Stolen Love (Cameron) ran 800 metres in 1.01.3, last 600 in 45.5. Amperage (R. Cole) worked 800 metres in 58.3, last 600 in 43.5. 3g Savabeel - Pins On Ice (McNab) did solo work over 800 metres in 58.5, final 600 in 43.5.
Echezeaux (Cameron) had her first head out since her Te Teko trial over 800 metres in 58, last 600 in 43.3.
