Te Akau Trackwork Update

Te Akau track work highlights for Friday 10 July - 

Three-quarter pace, All-weather track, right-handed:

Scrutinize (Richards), 2 g Postponed - Promissory (Ritchie) and 2 g Sakhee's Secret - Spin ‘n Grin (Shailer) tracked each other over 800m in 60 with the last 600m in 44.  

Court Case (Richards) went solo over 800 in 58.5, last 600m in 40, as did 2 g Paco Boy - L'Accord (Ritchie) and Beacon of Hope (Shailer). Vintage Verdot (Richards) also worked over 800m at three-quarter pace.

Three-quarter pace over 800 metres, all-weather track:

Preparing to resume in the Rating 65 1200 metres next Thursday at Hastings, Star of Greenbeel (Hercock), a winner of his only previous race day start, over 1200m in December, galloped 1000m in 1:04.5, last 600m in 36.8 and looked good.

Three-quarter pace, all-weather track:

Gardenier (Zac-Syed) worked solo over 800m in 1:01, last 600m 44.5. Royal Success (Shailer) went 800m in 60, and 44. Vive La Difference (Hercock) worked keenly over 800m in 58.5. Esprit De Corp (Ritchie) travelled comfortably over 800m in 59, last 600m in 44. Amperage (Shailer) went 800m in 1:02 and 45.5. 3 g El Hermano - Santiga Lass (Zac-Syed) went 800m in 59, last 600 in 43.5, followed in his work by Tatters (Winter). Lady Painton (Gomas) went 800m in 59. Grazia (Zac-Syed) covered 800m in 58.5, and Love Triangle (Hercock) clocked 59 for 800m at three-quarter pace.

Scrutinize (Richards) enjoyed his work over 800m in 1:00, last 600m in 44.2. Rocksun (Richards) appeared to be working nicely over 800m in 59, last 600m 44. Xtravagant (Richards) went 800m in 58, last 600m in 43, followed by Zambezi Warrior (Ritchie) and both looked good.

Princess Davone (Fawcett) and Spritz (Hanafi) worked together over 800m at three-quarter pace. Special Memories (K. Price) worked spot on over 800m, and Duchess Kate (Hercock) looked tremendous in her work over 800m.

Imperium (Zac-Syed) showed to be going nicely during an easy 800m in 56.

Hushed (Zac-Syed) and Skyscraper (Hercock) went an easy 1000m together in 1:07, last 600m in 39.

The jumpers: Sunset Pass (Hercock) and 4 g Ekraar - Cape Win (Winter) worked nicely together over 2400m at three-quarter pace. They ran the last 1000m in 1:17.
