Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 8 October -

Plough:

Bon Marche (Zac-Syed) worked solo over 1200m at three-quarter pace, quickening the final 600m. He clocked 1:25 for the trip, last 600m in 39, in preparation for the Maiden 1600 metres on Saturday at Matamata.

Cathedral Cove (K. Jones) Ocean Rock (Richards) went an easy 800m, last 600m in 41.2.

Amperage (K. Jones) and Hushed (Hercock) went an easy 1200m in 1:17.

Ekraarstatic (Lammas) worked solo over 1200m at three-quarter pace.

Opulent (Lammas) went 800m in 55, last 600m in 41.2.

All-weather track:

Backing up after winning the Rating 65 2100 metres last Friday at Te Rapa, Highly Likely (Lammas) worked over ground at three-quarter pace and contests the Rating 75 2100 metres on Saturday at Matamata.

Preparing for the John Griggs Stakes (Listed, 1400m) on Oct. 17 at Ashburton, last start Canterbury Belle Stakes (Listed, 1200m) winner Windborne (Walsh) worked solo over 1200m at three-quarter pace. Runner-up in the Canterbury Belle, Princess Davone (Walsh) did similar work and also contests the John Grigg.
