Te Akau Trainers Flying

Te Akau New Zealand trainer Jason Bridgman and Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker are both enjoying terrific season.  Group 1 trainers, both are class acts and magnificent horsemen whose results speak for themselves.

In New Zealand, Jason just celebrated his third black type winner for the season which is almost one third complete.  Windborne followed in the footsteps of Wolfwhistle and her own full sister Darci's Dream when collecting the trophy for the $50,000 Listed Murdoch Newell Stakes over 100m at Avondale.  Wolfwhistle and "big sis" had both claimed Listed events in Canterbury in the lead up to and during NZ Cup Week.

Currently Jason lies fourth on the New Zealand Trainers' Premiership with 22 wins (three at Group or Listed level), 22 second and 12 third placings and our stable has now won over half a million dollars in prize money for our owners - in fact $530,910.

In Singapore, season after season Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker delivers winner after winner and impressive stakes' earnings for our owners.  The Singapore season concludes on 31 December 2014 and currently Mark has tallied up 45 winners with 53 runners up and 51 third placegetters.  Impressively Te Akau Singapore has now won close to $2.4 million for our owners - a great result.
