1:08 p.m. R3 5 Popthebubbles (4 m Wrote – Vickezzlepin) – Vinnie Colgan; she responded with a sustained effort to win by two lengths when back in grade for the Rating 65 1800 metres on 6 June at New Plymouth, and contests the $17,000 Rating 75 1560 metres. Colgan was aboard for the win and second from four attempts, all her three wins have come on heavy ground, she has been competitive at this level previously, and brings winning form to the contest. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $1.90.

3:35 p.m. (NZ) ~ 1:35 p.m. (Vic) R3 1 3 I Choose You (4 m I Am Invincible – Choose) – Ryan Houston (a3); she came out of midfield with a strong finish for third in the Benchmark 74 1000 metres for Fillies & Mares here on 19 June, and contests the A$50,000 Benchmark 70 1000 metres. Ideally drawn (4), she enjoys weight relief to 58kg with the apprentice engagement. She has placed in each of her two course/distance attempts and rates a top three chance.
