12:25 p.m. R1 10 Stella Ma Bella (3 f Contributer – Bella Carolina) – Craig Grylls; she was caught three-wide, received cover midfield at the 700m, was pushed up rounding the home turn, and finished strongly for third in a trial on 30 October at Taupo, with Grylls aboard. Debuting in the $18,500 Maiden 1230 metres, she is a sister to the Te Akau bought and trained Group One winner and million-dollar earner Campionessa. While she looks to be destined for further, her trial was eye-catching and she is ideally drawn (4) to race well first-up. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $2.00.

1:30 p.m. R3 7 Day One (3 g Wootton Bassett – Eleonora) – Joe Doyle; he began well to settle handily, improved between runners to challenge when topping the rise at the 400m and sustained a solid finish for second in a trial on 30 October at Taupo. Debuting in the $18,500 Maiden 1400 metres, he has recorded a win and two seconds through the trials' stage, is by a Champion Sire out of the dual Group Three winner Eleonora (Makfi), and shapes to commence his racing career with a good showing is things go his way from the tricky draw (9).  Fixed odds: $6.50 & $2.45.

3:22 p.m. (NZ) - 1:22 p.m. (Vic) R1 2 Measure Of Time (3 g Written Tycoon – Lipari) – Linda Meech; he circled from last of five at the 600m to win a trial on 30 October at Caulfield, and debuts in the A$42,500 Maiden 3YO 1350 metres. By the Champion Sire, his dam Lipari has left five winners of 26 races including Group One winner Levendi (Pierro) and Group Three winners Wu Gok (Sebring) and Marcel From Madrid (Sepoy). He is ideally drawn (3) to race well first-up.
