12.43 p.m. R2 4 Silver Lake (4 m Redoute's Choice - Silver Blossom) - Danielle Johnson; produced a notable fresh-up third to subsequent impressive winning stable-mate Entriviere (Tavistock) in the Maiden 1200 metres on 23 September at Matamata. A consistent performer, she has the addition of visor blinkers and rates a top three chance in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres.





2.25 p.m. R5 10 Quattro Katie (5 m Zoustar - Kakakakatie) - Chelsea Burdan (a2); quickened appreciably to win a trial on 15 September at Te Rapa, and resumes in the $27,500 Rating 74 1000 metres. A stakes placed (Canterbury Belle Stakes (Listed, 1200m)) winner of two races, she has weight relief to 53.5kgs but has drawn wide (13).





2.25 p.m. R5 11 Burgundy Rose (5 m Burgundy - Paraiba) - Danielle Johnson; won both her trials in preparation to resume in the $27,500 Rating 74 1000 metres. The winner of two, including annihilation by six lengths in the Maiden 3YO 1100 metres last October at Taupo, she has also finished second three time in a total of six starts. Carrying 54.5kgs in a solid field, she rates a top three chance from barrier five.





4.18 p.m. R8 5 Savy Yong Blonk (5 m Savabeel - Ampin) - Danielle Johnson; freshened following three starts which culminated in winning the Open 1600 metres on 19 September at Hastings. Off a break, she blitzed her rivals in the Royal Descent Stakes (Fillies & Mares, 1600m) on Auckland Cup Day (3 March) at Ellerslie, and rates a top three chance in the $70,000 Gee & Hickton Funeral Directors Thompson Handicap (Gr. 3, 1600m) despite drawing wide (12). Fixed odds: $3.50 & $1.60.
