Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 22 March -


Sand track:


Highly Likely (Miller) produced nice easy work over 1200m. He ran the 1000m in 1:09.9, quickening the last 600m in 38.4.


Sand track, three-quarter pace:


Ahead of racing on Thursday at New Plymouth, Skyscraper (K. Price) went 1200m and Linchpin (Ritchie) 1000m. Recent winner Skyscraper (Manhattan Rain) contests the Rating 65 1800 metres and Linchpin (Pins) the Maiden 1600 metres.


Splurge (Ritchie) went 1000m, last 600m in 41.4. Grazia (De Geer) and Stella Di Paco (Hanafi) did similar work.


Esprit De Corp (Leveque) went 800m, as did Abloom (Miller) and 2 f Alamosa - Cavendish Belle (Fawcett).


Brer (Miller) worked over ground, last 600m in 42, in good work for the jumper. 


All-weather track:


Colorado Prince (Leveque), Shocking Luck (Fawcett) and Zip Zap (Hanafi) ran 800m in 1:01, last 600m in 44.
