Te Akau Monday Trackwork

Te Akau track work Monday October 21

Course proper, right-handed (dead):

All Decked Out (Hercock) and King's Rock (Miller) increased pace to cover 1200 metres in 1:18.3, last 600m 36.4. Both colts worked well, ahead of a pending assignment in the Wellington Guineas (Gr. 2, 1500m) on Saturday at Trentham. Should the track conditions be too testing, All Decked Out may fly south to contest the Canterbury Stakes (Listed, 1600m) on the same day at Riccarton, and King's Rock will wait for the Benchmark 65 1600 metres on Labour Monday, Oct. 28, at Te Rapa.

Impressive Soliloquy (Listed, 1400m) winner Spellbinder (Miller) had King Savinsky (Hercock) for a partner over 1000 metres in 1:04.7, last 600m 36.4. Spellbinder contests the Sarten Memorial (Gr. 3, 1400m) next Monday at Te Rapa, and King Savinsky is eyeing the Canterbury Stakes.

Gearing up for the Two-Year-Old race over 880 metres on Saturday Oct. 26 at Ellerslie, debutantes Darci's Dream (Dee) and Flaming (Hercock) galloped nicely up the back straight to record 37.4 for 600 metres.
