Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 5 April -
Sand track:
Cathedral Cove (Miller) and Zambezi Warrior (Ritchie) galloped over ground. They ran the 1200m in 1:20, last 600m in 37.1, which was good work. Cathedral Cove (Zabeel) is nominated for the Rating 65 2100 metres this Friday at Awapuni, and Zambezi Warrior (Pentire) the 3YO 2100 metres on Sunday at Pukekohe.
Resuming in the Rating 75 1200 metres at Pukekohe, Flirty Gertey (M. Grylls) worked over 1000m, 800m in 50 and last 600m in 36.7.
Chambord (Leveque) and Highly Likely (Hanafi) worked over ground. They ran the 1200m in 1:20, last 600m in 38.5. Chambord (Zabeel) is preparing for the Open 1600m on Saturday at Trentham, and Highly Likely (High Chaparral) resumes in the Rating 75 1600 metres at Pukekohe.
Sand track, three-quarter pace:
Linchpin (Ritchie) worked over 1200m in 1:30. Zavistic (Ritchie) ran 1000m in 1:15.
All-weather track, three-quarter pace:
Brer (Shailer) worked over 1600m.
