Te Akau Tuesday Trackwork

Te Akau track work highlights Tuesday 3 May - fog prevented some timing.

Plough:

Interstellar (Lammas) and Tavis Star (K. Jones) ran 1000m in 1:05.7, last 600m in 36.7.

Grazia (K. Jones) and Latin Rose (Lammas) worked an easy 1000m in 1:09, quickening the last 400m.

Stella Di Paco (Leveque) worked over 1200m. She ran the 1000m in 1:08, last 600m in 40.

Zip Zap (Miller) and Gingernuts (Cameron) ran 1000m in 1:07.

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Ebony Star (Fawcett) 1000m, Abloom (M. Grylls) and Bobtail (Hanafi) 800m, Elegant D'oro (Hillis) and Kuia (M. Grylls) 800m, 2 f Pins - Lillet (Hillis) and 2 f Showcasing - Real Success (Fawcett) 600m, Chambord (Leveque) 1200m, Its Our Showtime (Miller) 1000m, Esprit De Corps (Hillis) 1000m, Astrid (C. Riccarton:

Primrose (R. Didham) worked with a mate over 1000m in 1:04, last 600m in 37, preparing for the $50,000 Champagne Stakes (Listed, 1200m) on Saturday at Riccarton.

Browne's Hill, Cambridge:

Brer (Miller) and Highly Likely (Richards) did some hill work, and Maestro and Skyscraper were scheduled to pop over a few fences. Brer has been nominated for the Open Steeplechase 4000 metres on Saturday at Te Rapa, with Daniel Miller to ride.
