Course proper (Heavy):

Windborne (Lammas) went with a mate over 800m in 52.8, last 600m in 38.4. Eye-catching behind stable-mate Xtravagant (Pentire) in the Cambridge Breeders' Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m) at Te Rapa, Windborne (Darci Brahma) has been entered for the 3YO 1200 metres this Saturday at Te Rapa.

Astrid (Leveque) worked over 1000m at three-quarter pace. Last start winner Its Our Showtime (K. Jones) did similar work.

Sand track, three-quarter pace (wet):

Splurge (Shailer) ran 1200m in 1:30. Linchpin (Ritchie) ran 1200m in 1:30. Both horses are preparing to race over a mile on Thursday at Hastings, Splurge (Savabeel) in the Rating 65 and Linchpin (Pins) in the Maiden.

Fastnet Fire (K. Jones) ran 1200m in 1:30. Following an encouraging second over 1400 metres on debut at Matamata, Fastnet Fire (Fastnet Rock) contests the Maiden 1600 metres at Hastings.

Gingernuts (Ritchie) looked good when working over 1000m in 1:13.4. After running home solidly for second on debut to impressive winning stable-mate Hall of Fame (Savabeel) over 1200 metres at Pukekohe, Gingernuts (Iffraaj) takes on the Maiden 2YO 1300 metres at Hastings.

Lady Masako (Miller) and Madam Monica (M. Grylls) ran 1000m in 1:14, last 600m in 41.7. Both debutantes: Lady Masako (Iffraaj) and Madam Monica (Mastercraftsman) have been entered for the two-year-old race at Hastings.

Bobtail (Lammas) ran 1000m in 1:11, last 600m in 41, handling the going well.

Interstellar (Lammas) went 1000m in 1:18 and last 600m in 36.

Love Actually (Lammas) and Niamh Elizabeth (Miller) went 1000m in 1:12, last 600m in 42.
