Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 31 May -

Course proper (Heavy):

Gardenier (Lammas) and Linchpin (Ritchie) ran 1200m in 1:28, last 600m in 43.8. Last start winner Linchpin (Pins) is preparing for the Rating 65 1600 metres next Monday, Queen's Birthday 6 June, at Tauherenikau.

Fastnet Fire (M. Grylls) and Highly Likely (Leveque) covered 1200m in 1:30.6, last 600m in 46. Fastnet Fire (Fastnet Rock) is also scheduled for Tauherenikau.

Grazia (Fawcett) and Spritz (K. Jones) worked over 1200m in 1:35, last 600m in 45. Both fillies are scheduled to race over a mile at Tauherenikau.

Lady Pinot (Lammas) ran an easy 800m.

Sand track, three-quarter pace:

Love Actually (Lammas) covered 1000m in 1:10, last 600m in 41, which was good work.

Chadsdale (M. Grylls) went 1000m in 1:16, last 600m in 45.

Niamh Elizabeth (Miller) and Tavis Star (Hanafi) ran 1000m in 1:22, last 600m in 48.

Abloom (Lammas) went 800m in 1:05, last 600m in 46.
