Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 14 June -

Course proper (Slow):

Grandeur (Ritchie) and Herschal (Lammas) worked 1000 metres in 1.11.6, final 600 in 41, the pair are both heading towards Te Aroha for the Maiden 1400 on Sunday.

Ruakaka prospect Latin Rose (Fawcett) galloped well with Esprit De Corps (Miller) over 1000 metres in 1.10.4, last 600 in 40.4.

It's Our Showtime (K. Jones) and Beacon Of Hope (Leveque) covered 1000 metres in 1.09.8, final 600 in 39.9. Shillelagh (Lammas) looked strong in her work with Windborne (K. Jones), they ran 1000 metres in 1.09.3, last 600 in 39.9. Both pairs are heading to Ruakaka on Saturday.

The last pair to gallop in preparation for Ruakaka were Astrid (Miller) and Opulent (K.Jones) who worked 1000 metres in 1.10.9,  closing 600 in 40.6.

No.2 Sand, three quarter pace:

Grazia (Miller), who will look to break her maiden status at Avondale next Wednesday, covered 1200 metres, last 600 in 46.  Splurge (Shailer) and Cabaret (Lammas) both looked good going an easy 1000 metres in 1.14, running home in 44.6.
