Flemington:


Shillelagh (K. Jones) worked with a partner over 800 metres in 54.7, last 600 in 40. Shillelagh has settled well into Flemington and will have a jump out at Flemington on Friday morning. Stablemate Xtravagant (Pentire) has also continued to thrive in Melbourne as he prepares to race at Moonee Valley on 3 September in the Listed Chandler Macleod Stakes over 1200 metres.


Matamata Course Proper - reverse direction:


Heroic Valour (Cameron) worked in company with Corporate Missile (Fawcett) over 800 metres. They ran their last 600 in 39.7. Te Teko trial winner Corporate Missile (Smart Missile) will make her debut at Taupo on Friday in a Maiden event over 1200 metres and Heroic Valour (Fastnet Rock) will trial at Taupo over 1000 metres before the races.


O'Know (Lammas) worked with a partner over 1000 metres, the pair ran their last 600 in 38.8. O'Know (O'Reilly) is nominated for the Maiden 1300 metre event at Taupo.


O'Naturelle (McNab - below left) worked stylishly over 1000 metres with Love Triangle (Cameron - below right). They ran their last 800 metres in 53.6, 600 in 38.2. The duo pleased ahead of Taupo where O'Naturelle (O'Reilly) heads to the Maiden 1200 metre race and Love Triangle (Encosta De Lago) will be nominated for the Rating 65 1300 metre event.

Lucy Wyldstyle (Fawcett) and Sassy ‘N' Smart (Cameron) ran 800 metres to prepare for the Te Teko trials next Thursday. They covered the ground in 59.8, last 600 in 44.


A number of horses worked on their own over 800 metres this morning. Those horses included King Kane (McNab) in 59, last 600 in 43.3, Ocean Rock (Cole) in 58.3, last 600 in 43.5, Echezeaux (Leveque) in 1.00.8, last 600 in 44.8, 3g Alamosa - Fidelitas (R. Coles) in 59, last 600 in 44.5. Primrose (Lammas) in 1.01, coming home in 45.4, Maleficient (Lowry) in 1.01.5, last 600 in 44.7, O'Reilly Star (Cameron) in 57.2, last 600 in 42.5, Affinee (Fawcett) in 58.5, last 600 in 43.3 & Vive La Difference (Leveque) in 59, last 600 in 43.8.


Impressive last start winner at Otaki before his spell, Splurge (McNab) covered 800 metres in 59.7, running home his last 600 in 43.2. He will trial at Cambridge on 8 September before beginning his spring campaign.


An unnamed 3g Pins - Santangelo (Leveque) worked in company with Epic Tale (Hillis) over 800 metres in 59, the last 600 in 44.4. They were followed by 3g O'Reilly - Ethics (K. Price), who ran similar times.


Unfazed (Lammas) worked with 3g Red Giant - Celtic Class (Fawcett) over 800 metres in 58.2, last 600 in 43.5. Unfazed (Zabeel) heads back to Te Teko next Thursday 25 August for her second trial.


Madame Jamai (Leveque) ran 800 metres in 59, last 600 in 43.7, she was followed by 3f Redwood - Volk's Princess (Cameron) and Tiffany's Time (M. Grylls).


Rocksun (Shailer) was followed by 3YO stakes' performer Zambezi Warrior (McNab) over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 45.5.


Shocking Luck (Pinn) worked in behind Wide Awake (Shailer) over 800 metres in 59.9, last 600 in 44.3.


Beaumarchais (McNab), followed by 3c Savabeel - Pins On Ice (Shailer), worked over 800 metres 1.01.2, last 600 in 45.3


Te Teko trial winner Dame Margo Fonteyn (Fawcett) galloped 800 metres with Discretely Red (McNab), running their last 600 in 43.


The Chaser (McNab) sprinted 600 metres in 43.8.


All weather:


Imperium (Shailer) worked over 800 metres in 1.00.9, last 600 in 45. The five-year-old gelding appears to have matured now as a horse and is working well leading into in his second trial at Te Teko.


Lady Painton (M. Grylls) covered 800 metres on her own in 58, last 600 in 44.5.


2f Rock ‘N' Pop - Princess Caga (Fawcett) paired with 2f Burgundy - Eclectic Heights (Lammas) had their first piece of fast work over 600 metres in 45.6.


Cloudburst partnered with a 2f Burgundy - Squall (Cameron) over 600 metres, they sprinted home in 45.5. The pair is working towards trialling at Cambridge on 8 September.


Paradise Rock (Leveque) worked on his own over 1000 metres in 1.10, last 600 in 42.5.
