Unfazed (Lammas) and Corporate Missile (Miller) prepared for their weekend assignments by working over 1000 metres, running their last 800 metres in 53.6, last 600 in 40.3. Unfazed (Zabeel) heads to Te Aroha on Sunday while Corporate Missile (Smart Missile) heads to Ellerslie on Saturday for the Listed Bonecrusher Stakes over 1400 metres.

Affinee (McNab) ran 1000 metres, last 800 in 52.6 and 600 in 39.4.
