Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 18 October -

Matamata - Course Proper:

Zambezi Warrior (Fawcett) and Abidewithme (McNab) worked together over 1000 metres as they prepare to race at Ellerslie on Saturday. Abidewithme (Redoute's Choice) will begin her spring campaign in the Open Handicap over 1400 metres and last start winner Zambezi Warrior (Pentire) will run in the Rating 85 1600 metre contest.

Princess Davone (Fawcett) worked with Vinevale (Cameron) over 1000 metres. This pair will resume this preparation on Friday at Pukekohe. They will be nominated for the Rating 75 1200 metre race.

No. 2 Sand - fog prevented times:

3f Pins - Lillet (Leveque) and Lady Amadeus (Tan) looked good at the end of their 800 metres hit out at three-quarter pace. The pair of three-year old fillies will begin its spring campaign at the Te Aroha trials next Thursday 27 October.

3f Redoute's Choice - Scarlett Lady (Bourke) worked with Savvy Lady (Fawcett) over 800 metres, quickening up the straight. The pair will trial on Tuesday at Waipa.

Smashing (Cole) looked strongly at the line after working over 800 metres. The daughter of stakes' performer Ruud Van Slaats will make her first public appearance at Te Aroha trials on 27 October.

Sanhermano (Cameron) and 3g Alamosa - Danewhisper (Tan) enjoyed their work over 800 metres. This pair will trial at Waipa on Thursday.

Royal Success (McNab), preparing for a trial at Te Aroha next Thursday, worked over 800 metres.

Abloom (K. Price) and Zip Zap (Hillis) both worked on their own over 800 metres.

Lady Jasmine (Leveque) and Don'tblamethemusic (Pinn) covered 800 metres at three-quarter pace ahead of their trial on Thursday at Waipa.

Sebrose (Cameron) will take benefit from his work over 800 metres this morning. The former Singapore galloper is set to trial next Thursday at Te Aroha.

Riccarton:

Hall Of Fame (Miller) and Latin Rose (Wynne) worked together over 1000 metres in 1.01.8, lat 400 in 22.6. Hall Of Fame (Savabeel) steps up to stakes' company on Saturday at Riccarton in the Listed Zacinto Stakes over 1600 metres. Latin Rose (Mastercraftsman) will begin her South Island campaign in the Rating 75 1200 metre contest.

Madame Jamai (Miller) worked with Love Actually (Didham) over 1000 metres in 1.02.5, last 400 in 22.7. Both run over 1200 metres on Saturday, Madame Jamai (Minstrel Court) in the Rating 75, Love Actually (Swiss Ace) in the Rating 65 contest.

Carmenize (Miller) worked over 1000 metres in 1.15.7. She heads to Oamaru on Thursday for the Maiden 1200 metre event with Michael McNab engaged to ride her.
