Echezeaux (Lammas) and Abidewithme (Johnson) looked good working over 1000 metres in 1.05, last 600 in 36. The pair heads to Trentham on Saturday where Echezeaux (Encosta De Lago) will contest the Rating 75 1600 metre race while Abidewithme (Redoute's Choice) will start in the Group One Captain Cook Stakes.

Another pair heading to Trentham on Saturday, Melody Belle (Johnson) and Smashing (Lammas) matched strides over 800 metres in 50, last 600 in 35.8. Debut winner at Ruakaka, Melody Belle (Commands) will step up to stakes' company in the Group Two Wakefield Stakes for 2YO's and Smashing (Pins) heads to the Rating 85 1000 metre race.

Royal Success (Miller) worked in company with Zambezi Warrior (McNab) over 1200 metres, they were clocked from the 1000 metres in 1.03, last 600 in 35.8.

Paradise Rock (Leveque) worked on his own over 1200 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 41. Last start winner at Rotorua, Paradise Rock (Fastnet Rock) takes the step up to Rating 65 grade in 1800 metre race on Thursday at New Plymouth.

Kingsman (McNab) and Grazia (Cameron) worked well over 1000 metres in 1.06.5, last 600 in 36.5, as they prepare for their respective races this week. Grazia (Savabeel) will head to New Plymouth on Thursday for the Maiden 1600 metre race while Kingsman (Darci Brahma) will head to the Listed 3YO 1300 metre race at Ellerslie on Saturday.

Maleficent (Fawcett) worked in from the 1200 metres in 1.28, last 600 in 41. She looks set to enjoy the step up to 2000 metres at New Plymouth on Thursday in the Maiden distance race.

Xtravagant (Miller) was paired with Wide Awake (McNab), when working over 800 metres in 57, last 600 in 42.3.

Splurge (Miller) completed 1000 metres in 1.11, last 600 in 41. Our Abbadean (Leveque) ran 1000 metres in 1.14.7, last 600 in 44. Leonessa (K. Price) was given an easy time over 800 metres in 1.00, last 600 in 45. Smoke House Bay (Leveque) ran 800 metres in 1.00, last 600 in 45.8.

Spritz (Johnson) was clocked from the 800 metres in 56, Tatters (Lammas) followed behind running similar time.

Gingernuts (K. Price) and Alrina (Hillis) looked good working over 800 metres in 59, last 600 in 42.5. More Than Fast (Cameron) and Abbey Kay (Lammas) were another pair to go 800 in 55, last 600 in 40.5.

Astrid (Cameron) followed Grandeur (Lammas) over 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 41.
