Plough:

Zip Zap (McNab) worked with a partner over 1000 metres in 1.04, last 600 in 35.8. Following her resuming run at Matamata, she heads to Stratford on 31 December, where Group One winning rider Alysha Collett has been engaged for the ride.

Astrid (Fawcett) and Spritz (Pinn) ran 1000 metres in 1.04, last 600 in 36. Astrid (Pins) returns to the races on Sunday 1 January at Hastings in the Rating 75 1200 metre race. Spritz (Thorn Park) resumes at Stratford on Saturday 31 December in the Rating 65 1200.

Latin Rose (Lammas) who resumes on Thursday 29 December in the Rating 85 1200 metres, worked over 1000 metres 1.14, last 600 in 43.

Colorado Prince (McNab) and Chambord (Miller) - both pictured below - covered 1000 metres in 1.06.4, last 600 in 38.7. Colorado Prince (Darci Brahma) is set to make his debut on Saturday 31 December in the Maiden 3YO 1400 metre race. Chambord (Zabeel) heads to Tauranga on 2 January for the Open 1400 metre race.

Heroic Valour (McNab) and Xtravagant (Miller) worked in company over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 41.3. The pair of Group One winners will gallop between races on Thursday at Ellerslie.

Zavistic (M. Grylls) worked in company with Don'tblamethemusic (Fawcett) - both pictured below - over 1000 metres in 1.03.5, last 600 in 36.5. Zavistic (Zacinto) will resume on New Years' Day at Hastings and Don'tblamethemusic (Coat's Choice) begins his race career at Stratford on 31 December.

Sebrose (Lammas) and Zambezi Warrior (McNab) - main picture - ran 1200 metres in 1.16.3, last 600 in 35. Sebrose (Sebring) steps up to 2000 metres at Stratford in their Cup race. Zambezi Warrior (Pentire) will start at Ellerslie on New Years' Day in the Group 3 City Of Auckland Cup.

Last start winner at Trentham, Echezeaux (Fawcett) worked over 1200 metres in 1.25, last 600 in 40.

Affinee (Lammas) and Tiffany's Time (Winter) matched strides over 800 metres in 50, last 600 in 36.

Smashing (K. Jones) covered 1000 metres in 1.12, last 600 in 42. Iffragal (Lammas) followed behind running similar times. Iffragal (Iffraaj) heads to Ellerslie on Thursday for the 2YO event.

Gardenier (M. Grylls) looked good running 1000 metres in 1.12, last 600 in 39.

Madam Monica (McNab) and Dame Margo Fonteyn (Fawcett) worked over 1200 metres in 1.17.5, last 600 in 35.

Hushed (K. Price) went an easy 1200 metres, running his last 1000 metres in 1.06.
