Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 3 January -
Plough:
Echezeaux (K. Jones) and Smashing (Lammas) covered 1000 metres in 1.02, last 600 in 35.9. The pair will head to Trentham on Saturday, Echezeaux steps up to black-type company in the Listed Marton Cup and Smashing runs in the Rating 85 1200 metre race.
Icebomb (McNab) worked with a partner over 800 metres in 50.5, last 600 in 35.4.
Melody Belle (Lammas) wasn't after time working over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace in 1.15, last 600 in 45.
Its Our Showtime (K. Jones) worked over 800 metres, running her last 600 in 44.
Heart Of Courage (Miller - main picture left) and 2g Rock ‘N' Pop - Zorina (McNab - main picture right) ran 600 in 42.
Shocking Luck (Richards - below) ran 1000 metres, running his last 800 metres in 58, 600 in 42.
Esprit De Corps (K. Price) Smoke House Bay (R. Jones), Winehouse (K. Price) Leonessa (K. Price) and More Than Fast (Tan) all worked individually over 800 metres at three-quarter pace as they prepare to trial at Cambridge next Tuesday 10 January.
