Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 28 March -

Course Proper:

Melody Belle (McNab) and Summer Monsoon (Bosson) matched strides over 1000 metres in 1.05.7, last 600 in 37.7. Both two-year-olds pleased their rides with their work as they prepare for Saturday's Group One Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes.

Race rivals Gold Fever (C. Grylls) and Swing Note (Miller) did similar work in the right handed direction in 1.12, last 600 in 39.5.

Tatters (Bosson) and Princess Davone (McNab) prepared for their weekend assignments by working over 1000 metres in 1.15, last 600 in 40. Tatters (Tavistock) heads to Awapuni for the Rating 65 1600 metre event while Princess Davone (Iffraaj) heads to Rotorua on Friday for a Rating 75 1400 metre contest.

Plough - fog prevented early times:

Heroic Valour (Bosson) covered 800 metres at three-quarter pace in 1.01, running his last 600 metres in 45.

Bishop Rock (McNab) and Hall Of Fame (Bosson) both worked on their own over 800 metres at three-quarter pace in 1.00.6, last 600 in 45.

Shocking Luck (Bosson) looked to be travelling nicely at the end of his 1200 metre hit out, he covered the ground in 1.16, last 600 in 45.

Rocksun (McNab) worked over 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40.

Esprit De Corps (K. Price) looked to be travelling nicely, working over 1000 metres on his own in 1.04. Lucy Wyldstyle (Rika) followed behind running similar times.

Madam Monica (K. Price),  Tavis Star (Fawcett), Elegant D'Oro (Lammas) and Its Our Showtime (K. Jones) all worked over 800 metres at three-quarter pace.

2g Mastercraftsman - Bak Da Princess (Fawcett) and 2g Uncle Mo - Indalama (Bosson) travelled nicely over 600 metres at three-quarter pace. 2f Burgundy - Ensorcelez (Lammas) followed behind doing similar work.

2g Rock ‘N' Pop - Edesia (Miller) and Griffin (Bosson) strode out over 600 metres at three-quarter pace.
