Te Akau Tuesday Trackwork

Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 6 June -

Matamata

Course Proper:

Grandeur (Tan) worked well over 1000 metres and is set to resume in the Maiden 1200m at Avondale this Friday.

Corporate Missile (Miller) and Elegant D'Oro (Leveque) paired up to work over 1000 metres. Both horses are nominated for races on Friday and Saturday - Avondale on Friday (Elegant D'Oro - Maiden 1400m) and Te Rapa on Saturday (Corporate Missile - R65 1600m).

Tavis Star (Fawcett) and Bishop Rock (Miller) worked well over 1200 metres. Both horses are also scheduled to line up at Te Rapa this Saturday.

Lady Pinot (K Price) worked nicely on her own over 1000 metres at three quarter pace.


No2. Sand:

O'Know (Leveque) worked solo over an easy 1000 metres and is due to race at Avondale this Friday in the Maiden 1400m.

 

Gold Coast


Course Proper:

Heroic Valour (Bosson) worked in company with a companion over 1000 metres in 1.08.09, the last 600 in 37.7. Heroic Valour looked to be working well and Opie Bosson was very happy with his work as he prepares for Saturday.


Inside track:

Melody Belle (Bosson) and Jimmy Rea (K Jones) worked together over 1000 metres in 1.06.08, last 600 in 37.9. Both horses worked nicely as they too prepare for their Saturday assignments.

Zambezi Warrior (J Lloyd) lead Shocking Luck (Bosson) over 1200 metres in 1.22.09, last 600 in 38.2. Both horses relaxed early and finished off their gallop nicely heading into Saturday.
