Te Akau Tuesday Trackwork

Te Akau track work highlights - Tuesday 19 September -

 

Course Proper:

Gingernuts (Bosson) and Chance To Dance (Emily Murphy) galloped over 1200 metres in 1.22, last 600 in 39 and the last 200 in 13. We were very pleased with both horses' efforts and as you know, Gingernuts is to line up in the Group One Windsor Park Plate this Saturday, while Chance To Dance still has options at both Hastings on Saturday and Pukekohe on Sunday.

Wandering Eye (Lammas) galloped over 1000 metres in company with a companion, running the distance in 1.09, last 600 in 39.5. They were followed by Cousteau (Bosson) who also worked over 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 40. Wandering Eye is due to contest the Maiden 1200 metres at Taupo this Friday.

 

All Weather:

Willpower (Bill) and Byzantine (McNab) galloped nicely over 600 metres in 37.5.

Firebrand (Alam), 2g Burgundy - Meranti (McNab) and Ocean Star (Pinn) all worked together nicely at three quarter pace over 600 metres - no time was taken.

Publicist (Pinn) and Irish Cream (M Grylls) galloped an easy 600 metres in 42.

Full Of Grace (Tan) and 3f Super Easy - Flower Girl (Leveque) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 min, last 600 in 45.

3g Mastercraftsman - Tenacity (Pinn) and Status Symbol (McNab) worked well over 800 metres - no time was taken.

 

No2. Sand:

Queen Of The Air (Bosson) worked very nicely at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, home in 43. Queen Of The Air is scheduled for a race day debut at Pukekohe this Sunday in the Maiden 2YO 800 metre event.

Abbey Kay (Bakar) and Meteoric Lass (K Price) galloped an easy 800 metres - no time was taken but they looked to be working along nicely.

Our Abbadean (K Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 59.5, last 600 in 44.

Jet Set (Lammas) and 3f He's Remarkable - Andra (Burdan) galloped an easy 800 metres in 54, home in 39.

Epic Tale (Bosson) and Coup Bradman (Bakar) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres in 1.09, last 600 in 38.5. Both horses are preparing to line up at Taupo this Friday.

Vinevale (Tan) and Winehouse (Lammas) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.03, last 600 in 37. Both horses are aiming toward racing at Taupo on Friday also.

3f Fastnet Rock - Gipsy Countess (K Price) worked solo at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 45.

Elegant D'Oro (Leveque) galloped well over an easy 800 metres in 55, last 600 in 40.

Icebomb (Bakar) and 3f Cape Blanco - Singalong (K Price) galloped together over an easy 800 metres in 57, last 600 in 42.

Beaumarchais (McNab) and Aquilo (Pinn) galloped an easy 800 metres in 54, last 600 in 38.5.

Its Our Showtime (Bosson) worked very well at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, home in 43.

Fashionably (Leveque) and 4m Pins - Lillet (Burdan) galloped an easy 800 metres in 57, last 600 in 42. Both horses travelled nice and keen to the line.

 

South Island - Inside Grass:

All horses are due to line up at Riccarton this Saturday in their respective events.

Age Of Fire (Miller) and Tiffany's Time (Newman) galloped well together over 800 metres in 50.3, last 600 in 36.9.

Grazia (Miller) galloped solo over 1200 metres in 1.18, last 600 in 37.2.

Swing Note (Miller) and Heart Of Courage (Newman) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres in 1.05, last 600 in 37.6.

King Kane (Miller) and Astrid (Newman) paired up to gallop over 1000 metres. Running 800 metres in 52.6 and the last 600 in 38.6.
